Boulevard Irish Ale

The Beer

As a local favorite, I drink quite a bit of Boulevard beverages.  I've recently been drawn to the colors on the box and bottle, reminds me of Christmas!  My liquor store had Boulevard on sale, so I decided give it a try!

It's very dark, as most Irish ales are, and honestly I liked it a lot.  It's not as smooth as other Boulevard beverages, but I really enjoyed it.  Very flavorful.

History

The Boulevard Brewing Company was started in 1989, and is now the largest specialty brewery in the Midwest.  Boulevard makes numerous popular flavors, notably Bully Porter, Boulevard Wheat, and 80 Acre IPA.

Conclusion

I'm very satisfied with it, it's cheap and has the perfect caramel like taste. There aren't many Boulevard beverages I have found that I don't enjoy.
